As technology moves on materials become available that change the game, none more so than composite gates. It has gone from an obscure thing that no one ever asked for to by far and away being the most asked for and requested material for our gates.
At Custom Gates we don't just follow the crowd and bolt anthracite composite into a black frame (we sometimes do) we have tried to be a bit braver. We have tried endless different colour combinations with green frames, blue frames, white frames and countless colours and we can even recolour the composite and match the colour fast 10 year warranty. The point is its a very versatile material and can improve the kerb side of just about any house.
As with all our gates, quality and longevity is at the forefront of the composite gate design. With years of experience between us and some of the best electric gate engineers, we really believe we have the best gate framing system available.
Take for example our sliding gates. We use the very best, low friction rollers meaning that so long as the gate is serviced regularly the rollers will keep the gate true for year after year. Its the same with our hinge system on our swing gate. We mount our hinges on the diagonal meaning the risk of trapping is so much lower
